Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan biaya pendidikan terhadap kualitas proses belajar mengajar dan dampaknya dengan kompetensi lulusan SMK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Ex Post Facto dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di sembilan SMK di Gunungkidul, dengan responden 210 guru. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi dan analisis jalur (Path Analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) struktur pengaruh yang mempengaruhi kompetensi lulusan tidak terbukti secara empiris; (2) Tidak terdapat pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan kompetensi lulusan dan terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan kompetensi lulusan melalui kualitas proses belajar mengajar yaitu sebesar 0,059; (3) Terdapat pengaruh langsung sebesar 0,221 dan tidak langsung sebesar 0,096 biaya pendidikan dengan kompetensi lulusan; (4) pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, biaya pendidikan dan kualitas proses belajar mengajar terhadap kompetensi lulusan masing-masing sebesar 2,6%, 10,6%, 13,0%; (5) pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan biaya pendidikan terhadap kualitas proses belajar mengajar sebesar 21% dan pengaruh setiap variabel sebesar 8,7%, 16,8%. dan 5,9%. The effect of principal leadership and education costs on the quality of the teaching and learning process and the subsequent impact on competence of vocational school graduates in Gunungkidul RegencyAbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of principals' leadership and education costs on the quality of teaching and learning processes and their impact on the competence of vocational school graduates. This study is an Ex Post Facto study using a quantitative approach. The study was conducted in 9 Vocational Schools in Gunungkidul, with 210 teachers as respondents. Data collection in this study uses a questionnaire. Testing the hypothesis with Path Analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) the structure of influence that influences graduate competency is not empirically proven; (2) There is no direct influence of the principal's leadership with graduate competency and there is an indirect influence of the principal's leadership with graduate competence through the quality of the teaching and learning process which is equal to 0.059; (3) There is a direct effect of 0.221 and indirectly by 0.096 costs of education with graduate competencies; (4) the influence of principals' leadership, education costs and the quality of the teaching and learning process on graduate competencies of 2.6%, 10.6%, 13.0% respectively; (5) the influence of principals' leadership and education costs on the quality of teaching and learning processes is 21% and the effect of each variable is 8.7%, 16.8% and.5.9%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pemerataan pendidikan di Kabupaten Sintang dalam pelaksanaan pemerataan pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sintang, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Cabang Kecamatan, dan Ketua PGRI (Informan Kunci),  dan Pengawas Sekolah, Kepala Sekolah, dan Guru (Informan Penunjang). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis Spradley untuk menganalisis permasalahan pemerataan pendidikan di Kabupaten Sintang. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa temuan utama. Pertama, pelaksanaan pemerataan pendidikan di Kabupaten Sintang terkendala akibat keadaan geografis dan sarana prasarana yang kurang. Kedua, partisipasi pendidikan di Kabupaten Sintang belum terlaksana maksimal karena program wajib belajar hanya mencapai 7 tahun. Ketiga kualifikasi guru di Kabupaten Sintang masih banyak belum yang memenuhi standar. Keempat, anggaran pendidikan yang berupa dana BOS belum memadai untuk dikelola oleh sekolah di daerah. An analysis of equality matter in education in Sintang Regency AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the equality in education in Sintang Regency that covered the implementation of basic education. This was a qualitative study using case study approach. The subject was the Head of Education Department, the Head of Education Department district, and the Chairman of PGRI (Key Informant), and the School Superintendent, principal, and teachers (Supportive Informant). Data collection technique used documentation and interviews. Analysis of the data was an analysis of Spradley’s model to analyze equality matter in education in Sintang. This research results in four major findings. First, the implementation of equality in education was constrained because of geographical condition and lack of infrastructure. Second, the participation of education in Sintang was only reached 7 years. Third, many teacher’s qualifications is still not fulfilling the standard. Fourth, education budget that form of BOS fund is not adequate to manage by schools in rural area.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of teachers management professional development through the Teachers Working Group. This study is a mixed research conducted in ten districts /cities spread in Aceh Province, involving 37 Elementary Schools. The subject in this study include core teacher, teachers, chairman of the KKKS (Principal Working Group), as well as education offices chosen by purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Qualitative data analysis carried out by the procedure or steps such as data reduction, data display, and verification. The results showed that: (1) Profile of KKG in general consists of the components: (a) the legal basis, the name, position, and the nature of the organization, (b) the vision, mission, and futuristic goals, (c) membership, management and organizational structure, (d) Basic budget, and (e) the facilities and infrastructure for KKG; (2) the implementation of KKG is done through the regular and development activities; (3) The obstacles encountered in the implementation of KKG include: (a) inadequate facilities and infrastructure are inadequate, (b) financing needs to be improved, (c) the motivation of teachers is still low, (d) the principal supports to include teachers in routine activities are lacking due priority school activities, and (e) the support of local government and education authorities on the development of KKG is still lack; while (4) KKG development management evaluation done with the steps: (a) the supervision and monitoring, evaluation, and feedback.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan suatu gambaran pemanfaatan kelas sebagai episentrum pembelajaran secara maksimal melalui penguatan manajemen kelas. Disain penelitian ini menggunakan case study research.  Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena dan fakta pembelajaran di kelas melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi serta angket respon siswa terhadap aktivitas belajar mengajar yang dilakukan guru dan siswa di SD Panca Setya 2 Sintang, Kalimantan Barat. Data divalidasi dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik kemudian dianalisis dan ditarik kesimpulan secara induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kelas dan pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya menjadi pusat atau episentrum pembelajaran yang kuat meskipun pada aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, implementasi dan evaluasi belajar yang dilakukan guru sudah cukup baik. Respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa pada keempat aspek tersebut belum berjalan secara ideal sesuai harapan siswa kerena kelas belum sepenuhnya dikelola secara maksimal. Solusi mengatasi persoalan ini bisa dilakukan dengan menerapkan manajemen hexagonal yang memiliki enam kekuatan sentral yakni karakteristik siswa, sikap guru, infrastruktur kelas, infrastruktur teknologi, dukungan sekolah, dukungan  yayasan atau dinas pendidikan. Bila pembelajaran di kelas mengintegrasikan peran sentral keenam aspek manajemen hexagonal maka kelas akan sungguh-sungguh menjadi pusat gravitasi pembelajaran efektif, produktif dan bermakna. Class hexagonal management in elementary school learning AbstractThis study aims to map a picture of class use as the epicenter of learning and strengthening classroom management. This research design uses a case study research. This study explores the phenomena and facts of learning in the classroom at Panca Setya 2 Elementary School, in Sintang of West Kalimantan. The data collecting by participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies as well as student response questionnaires to teaching and learning activities carried out by teachers and students. Data is validated by source triangulation and techniques then analyzed and drawn inductively. The results of the research show that class and learning have not yet fully become the center or strong epicenter of learning even though the aspects of planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the learning done by the teacher are good enough. Students' responses show that the four aspects have not run ideally according to student expectations because the class has not been fully managed maximally. The solution to overcome this problem can be done by implementing hexagonal learning management because it is believed to be able to turn on six key aspects of learning so that the class truly becomes the center of effective and optimal learning gravity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kegiatan Kelompok Kerja Guru yaitu memberikan informasi seberapa memadai input, proses, dan output kegiatan KKG Guru Kelas di Kecamatan Cipari Kabupaten Cilacap. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan model CIPP yang difokus pada tiga aspek yaitu input, proses, dan output. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumen. Analisis data penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil evaluasi input menunjukkan pelaksanaan kegiatan KKG Guru Kelas dalam kategori memadai dengan mean terendah pada aspek sarana dan prasarana, serta materi kegiatan KKG. Hasil evaluasi proses menunjukkan pelaksanaan kegiatan KKG Guru Kelas dalam kategori efektif dengan mean terendah pada aspek seminar, lokakarya dan diskusi panel, serta peer coaching. Hasil evaluasi output menunjukkan pelaksanaan kegiatan KKG Guru Kelas dalam kategori baik  dengan mean terendah pada aspek meningkatnya kompetensi guru, dan meningkatnya pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap, dan kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran. An evaluation of the activities of teachers working group in Cipari Cilacap District AbstractThis study aimed to evaluate the Teacher Working Group activities by providing information on how adequate input, process, and output is for classroom teacher TWG activities in Cipari, Cilacap District. This research was an evaluation research with the CIPP model focused on three aspects, input, process, and output. Data were collected through observation, interview, questionnaire, and document. Data analysis of the research was carried out with quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of the evaluation of input for the implementation of the TWG Teacher Class activities show that it is in an adequate category with the lowest mean on the facilities and infrastructure, and the teacher working group program material. The results of the evaluation of the process of implementing the TWG Teacher Class activities show that it is in an effectiveness category with the lowest mean was in seminars, workshops and panel discussions, and peer coaching. The results of evaluating the output of the TWG Teacher Class activities show that it is in a good category with the lowest mean on increasing teacher competency, and increasing knowledge, skills, attitudes, and performance teacher in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan manajemen pengembangan guru untuk implementasi kurikulum 2013 di SMA Negeri Pilot Project Yogyakarta. Studi ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA N 2 dan SMAN 8 kota Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data: observasi, penelusuran dokumen, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) perencanaan dilakukan dengan meninjau peraturan menteri pendidikan nasional tentang Kurikulum 2013. (2) pengorganisasian dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dengan membentuk sebuah tim. (3) pelaksanaan dalam bentuk workshop, pelatihan dan pengembangan, pendidikan dan pelatihan, In-House Training, MGMP, serta studi lebih lanjut. (4) pengendalian dilakukan dengan supervise oleh kepala sekolah. (5) Faktor pendukung pengembangan kompetensi guru adalah: pertama, keberadaan guru yang telah menjadi instruktur nasional pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013. Kedua, guru memiliki motivasi yang tinggi untuk mengikuti program pengembangan kurikulum ini. Ketiga, sekolah menyediakan anggaran untuk pelaksanaan program pengembangan. Faktor penghambatnya adalah; pertama, peserta program tidak mendapatkan gaji. Kedua, kendala teknis seperti proyektor rusak. Ketiga, perencanaan waktu pelaksanaan agar tidak mengganggu kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah. Management of teachers competence development for the implementation of curriculum 2013 at pilot project state senior high school of Yogyakarta Abstract This study aims to describe the management of the development of teachers for curriculum implementation in 2013 at the pilot project of state senior high school of Yogyakarta. This study is a qualitative research in methods of case studies. Research conducted at the SMA N 2 and SMAN 8 Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques: direct observation, review or archive documents and interviews. The results showed: (1) planning is done by reviewing the regulation of the Minister of national education about curriculum 2013. (2) organizing is done by the head of the school by forming a team. (3) the implementation in the form of workshops, training, and development, education and training, in-house Training, MGMP, as well as further study. (4) Controlling is done by supervising by school principals. (5) supporting the development of teacher competence Factors are: first, the existence of a teacher who has become a national instructor curriculum implementation of 2013. Second, teachers have a high motivation to follow this curriculum development program. Third, schools provide a budget for the implementation of development programs. Inhibiting factor are; First, program participants get no salary. Second, the technical barriers such as the projector is broken. Third, planning implementation time so as not to interfere with learning activities at school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran dan mutu  guru melalui implementasi supervisi akademik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, studi dokumen dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik pada siklus 1 dan siklus 2 menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan skor pada aspek perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Meskipun masih berada pada kategori cukup, namun dari pra siklus sampai dengan siklus 2 terus mengalami peningkatan.  Hasil ini dapat dicapai karena adanya kerjasama yang baik antar Kepala Sekolah dan Guru yang disupervisi.  Kepala Sekolah berdiskusi dengan guru mengenai masalah yang dihadapi guru pada proses perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Supervisi akademik yang dilakukan Kepala Sekolah merupakan usaha untuk memperbaiki pengajaran, termasuk menstimulasi, menyeleksi pertumbuhan jabatan dan perkembangan guru- guru serta merevisi tujuan-tujuan pembelajaran, bahan pengajaran, metode, evaluasi atau penilaian pengajaran. Supervisi akademik dapat membantu guru untuk mempelajari dan memahami tugas dan perannya sebagai seorang pendidik. Implementation of academic supervision for increasing the quality of teachers AbstractThe aim of this study is to improve the quality learning of teachers through the implementation of academic supervision. The research method used is School Action Research (PTS) with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, document studies, and observations. The results showed that academic supervision in cycle 1 and cycle 2 showed an increase in scores on aspects of planning and implementing learning. Although it is still in a sufficient category, from pre-cycle to cycle 2 it continues to increase. This result can be achieved because of the good cooperation between the Principal and the supervised Teacher. Principals discuss with teachers about the problems faced by teachers in the planning and implementation of learning processes. Academic supervision by the Principal is an effort to improve teaching, including stimulating, selecting the growth of positions and the development of teachers and revising learning objectives, teaching materials, methods, evaluation and evaluation of teaching. Academic supervision can help teachers to learn and understand the task and its role as an educator.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan masalah mendasar yang menyebabkan uji kompetensi guru rendah beradasarkan berpikir sistem (system thinking) sehingga masalah mendasar tersebut dapat menjadi daya ungkit dalam penyelesaian masalah rendahnya kompetensi mutu dan kompetensi guru di Aceh. Pendekatan Kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru Sekolah Dasar di Banda Aceh yang dipilih secara random, kepala sekolah dan dinas pendidikan kota. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi serta kajian literatur Neraca Pendidikan Daerah (NPD) dari tahun 2015 –2017, di hubungkan dengan beberapa hasil penelitian dan pernyataan tokoh-tokoh pendidikan serta pemerintah terkait masalah Uji Kompetensi Guru. Analisis dimulai dari data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga pilar dalam berpikir sistem sebagai daya ungkit dalam permasalahan rendahnya mutu dan kompetensi guru yaitu reinforcing berkaitan dengan peningkatan kapabilitas guru, balancing berkaitan dengan perubahan sistem proses rekruitmen guru, dan delaying berkaitan dengan politik dan politisasi pendidikan. Improving teacher competence based on system thinkingAbstractThis study aims to find a fundamental problem that causes low teacher competency test based on system thinking so that the fundamental problem can be a leverage in solving the problem of low-quality competency and teacher competency in Aceh. The Qualitative approach was used in this study, the research subjects consisted of randomly selected elementary school teachers in Banda Aceh, the head of the school and the city education office. Data were collected through interviews, and documentation studies as well as a literature review of the Regional Education Balance (NPD) from 2015-2017, linked to several research results and statements from education and government figures regarding the issue of Teacher Competency Test. The analysis starts from data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification, the results of the study show that there are three pillars in system thinking as leverage in the problem of low quality and teacher competency, namely reinforcing with regard to increasing teacher capabilities, balancing in relation to changes in the recruitment system teacher, and delaying with regard to politics and the politicization of education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen layanan perpustakaan universitas di perpustakaan Universitas Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang diterapkan adalah model Miles dan Huberman dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Dengan uji keabsahan data melalui kredibilitas dengan teknik triangulasi sumber. Penelitian ini berfokus pada keadaan sebenarnya yang terjadi di perpustakaan Universitas Nurul Jadid setelah unifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perpustakaan Universitas Nurul Jadid masih pada taraf perpustakaan berkembang diukur berdasarkan visi dan misinya. Perencanaan perpustakaan Universitas Nurul Jadid sudah memadai secara prosedur dan syarat pembuatan visi dan misi. Pengorganisasian masih belum berstandar perpustakaan universitas karena SDM tidak lulusan linear dan belum tersertifikasi. Pelaksanaan masih ditemukan kendala sarana prasarana. Sedangkan pengawasan belum maksimal karena tidak dilakukan sesuai prosedur yang telah ditetapkan. Post unification university library services management in the library of Universitas Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo AbstractThis research is aimed to describe university library service management in the library of Nurul Jadid University Paiton Probolinggo included planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. This study using descriptive qualitative method. Data collection technique is using depth interview, range observatory, and documentations. Technic of data analysis is using Miles and Huberman models; data reduction, data presentation, data conclusion, and verification. From data credibility taken from triangulation data source. This study focuses on the natural setting in the library at Nurul Jadid University after unification. The result of this study indicates that library Nurul Jadid University is still in developing library level based on its vision and mission. The planning of library Nurul Jadid University is already adequate in procedural and requisite. The organization is still not standardization university library because human resources of its library are not from the linear subject and still not certification. The actuating found constraints on facilities and infrastructures. While supervision is not maximal because it is not carried out according to the prescribed procedures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efisiensi eksternal pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Yogyakarta dengan sudut pandang nilai guna kemampuan lulusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Sumber data adalah dokumentasi dan informan dari alumni SMK di Kota Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan keterserapan lulusan SMK di Kota Yogyakarta belum tercapai dengan maksimal. SMK belum mampu memberikan manfaat seperti yang diharapkan kepada seluruh lulusan. Oleh karena itu efisiensi eksternal pendidikan kejuruan di Kota Yogyakarta disimpulkan tidak efisien. Kesesuaian pengajaran di sekolah dengan perkembangan dunia kerja/industri belum sepenuhnya baik. Di sisi lain, terdapat beberapa manfaat dari pendidikan SMK bagi siswa antara lain: Mendapat pengalaman kerja melalui program Magang, PKL, atau prakerin; Mendapat peluang kerja di dunia usaha dan industri; Berwirausaha dengan keterampilan yang didapat; Pendidikan menengah kejuruan bisa melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan lebih tinggi. Sedangkan dari survai kepuasan diketahui alumni merasa puas terhadap lembaga sekolahnya. Namun terdapat beberapa informan yang merasa kurang puas antara lain kesesuaian kurikulum dengan dunia industri, keberadaan pembelajaran soft skill di lembaga pendidikan, bimbingan guru selama prakerin, jumlah kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana praktik, dan kesesuaian sarana prasarana praktik dengan dunia industri. The external efficiency of vocational education in YogyakartaAbstractThis research aims to describe of external efficiency of vocational education (SMK) in Yogyakarta with point of view of the values of graduates’ ability. This research used the qualitative approach of phenomenology. The data sources were the documentation and the informants of graduates of Vocational High School in Yogyakarta. The data collection was done through document analysis and interview. The data analysis technique included of collecting data, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The research finding reveals that the absorption of vocational high schools graduates in Yogyakarta have not been reached maximally. Vocational high schools cannot enable to give the benefits as expected for the graduates. So, the external efficiency of vocational education in Yogyakarta can be concluded that is inefficient. The instructional conformity of the school that related to the development of working field/industry is not good enough. In other hand, there are some benefits of Vocational education for students such as: getting experience in the work field through the internship program, PKL, or prakerin; getting job opportunity in the business world and industry; entrepreneurship with the skill that got; Vocational High School Education can continue to the advanced study. Meanwhile, based on the survey of satisfaction is known that the graduates feel satisfied toward their school education. However, there are some informan that are not satisfied with the conformity of curriculum related to the industry field, the existence of learning soft skill in the school education, the teacher’s guide during prakerin, the number of completeness of practicum tools, and the conformity of practicum tools with the industry field.
